Our second visit to Eastbourne but this time in the height of summer. We are staying at the Hadleigh Hall Hotel which is idealy situated in Burlington Place just 60 yards from Grand Parade, Eastbourne’s main seafront promenade and only minutes level walk from the Bandstand, Carpet Gardens and main shopping area.
The Hadleigh has recently undergone renovation and gained an enviable reputation for excellent traditional food served in the bright and attractive restaurant.
This holiday includes:
A day in Eastbourne.
Penshurst Place – a fourteenth century manor house once owned by Henry VIII but since owned by the same family for over 400 years. After Penshurst we will take a ride on the pretty Spa Valley Railway.
A day in Lewes & Brighton.
