Travelling north into Scotland for an overnight stay in Perth.

Sunday, we continue north to the Highlands with a comfort stop before proceeding to the hotel in Inverness.

An early start on Monday for the scenic journey to the remote Georgian town of Thurso, to enjoy the day’s rail journey on the Far North Line.

On Tuesday, the highlight for most will be a journey on one of the world’s finest coast-to-coast railway journeys to the Kyle of Lochalsh, overlooking the Isle of Skye. This spectacular train ride is undoubtedly one of the most scenic rail journeys in the United Kingdom.

Wednesday we journey to Aviemore and Rothiemurchus Estate. Here we will be joined by a ranger to accompany us on a coach safari to get the best views of the surrounding countryside and the chance to meet the resident deer and Highland Cows. Afterwards, enjoy a nostalgic ride on the Strathspey Railway to Broomhill.

Thursday, journeying south, we break the journey at Loch Tummel and the panoramic ‘Queens View’ before spending time in Pitlochry. Onwards then to your overnight hotel at the Winnock Hotel, Drymen

Friday it’s the homeward journey.
